39 Weeks

Well, I've made it to 39 weeks. I must say that I'm tired and ready to have this baby. I'm a little discouraged. Carson was born 9 days early, which would have been last Monday, and Alaina was born 7 days early, which would be today. But as any mother knows, each child is different and usually come when it's convenient for them, not mommy. I was really hoping to have had this baby and be home from the hospital before our move on Monday. The 2nd and 3rd weeks of August Carson and Alaina have swim lessons, and then schools starts for Carson. So as a family we've got a lot coming up. It would make things so much easier for me if this baby would come already! Of course patience has never been a virtue of mine. I'm trying to keep my mind off of having this baby and on getting ready to move. I have to admit that finding the energy and desire to pack everything is evading me. The good thing is that we're just moving across town and not across the state this time so everything doesn't "have" to be packed as much. This afternoon I have a doctor's appointment. Hopefully, I've made some more progress from last week. Wish me luck and hopefully my next post will be about the arrival of our sweet little baby!

Leaning Tower of Boxes

After many phone calls yesterday, a drive around town, and a near break down crying that no one would give me boxes, I finally got boxes at around 8:30 pm. Now comes the hard part...packing them. Anyone want to come pack all my stuff for me? You know you want to. ;)

38 Weeks

Today I'm at 38 weeks! I visited the doctor today also. The baby's heart sounds good, I'm measuring 40 weeks, am dialated to a 2 and 70% effaced. The baby's head is down but still a bit high. That's the reason I'm still having trouble breathing. This kid is still pretty active, but starting to slow down a little. He's probably running out of room. Carson was 9 days early and Alaina 7 days early...so if this kid follows his siblings we'll have a baby sometime next week! Really anytime after Daddy finishes his last final, which is Friday morning, and before the 1st ,which is when we move, would be wonderful! We'll just have to see what this kid decides to do!

Two Front Teeth

Carson is now sporting a toothless smile. Hopefully the Tooth Fairy will remember to come tonight.

Pretty Flowers

Today I received a wonderful surprise of having flowers delivered! I've never had flowers delivered to me and it picked up my spirits right away. I couldn't think of who they would be from because honestly Tony doesn't give flowers very often, he's been way too busy with school and work, and I couldn't think of an occasion that he would give me flowers. The card revealed that they were from my mom. Just to say thank you. She's so sweet and I really appreciate the flowers. Aren't moms just the best?!

36 Weeks

Well, I've finally made it to the last 4 weeks! As you can all guess I'm feeling big, hot, and tired. Last week I was in Boise for my sister's wedding and was able to (finally) get all our baby stuff. So as you can all guess I'm on a mad dash to get ready for this little guy before he arrives. Well, as best as I can anyways...a lot of stuff is just going to have to wait until after we move. We're planning on moving the first week of August, which is yes the same week I'm due. In two weeks Tony has finals, so the next month is going to be a little crazy, but we'll manage. I'm really excited about our new place http://www.rexburgrental.blogspot.com/, it'll be so much nicer and more comfortable than our little 2 bedroom 800 sq ft apartment we're in now. Regrettably, Carson will have to go to a new school and we'll be in a new ward, but that's how it goes.

Hannah's Cake

Here is the latest wedding cake. I did it for my little sister Hannah's wedding. Thankfully I had the help of my mom and sister Becky. My belly made things a little difficult, but it turned out beautiful!
