Unfortunately Carson got a broken leg today. He and I were jumping on the trampoline, yes in January. Hey, it was a nice day and we needed to get out for a little while. Anyway I jumped too high and he caught the whole bounce on his right leg. It fractured right below his knee. We took him first to a minor emergency where we found out that it was broken. They sent us to the emergency room to decide whether he needed surgery or not. Thankfully the break did not go into the growth plate like originally thought, so no surgery. So he'll be in a splint for the next 3 or 4 days and then have a cast for the next 4-6 weeks. Hopefully we'll both start feeling better soon. My sorrow and his pain. Poor little guy.

A New Little Nephew
Yesterday my sister-in-law and brother welcomed a new little member to their family! Mason James Elton made his appearance around 5:00 p.m. last night. We are all so glad that mother and baby are doing well!

A Very McQueen Christmas
We didn't plan it but every gift except one that Carson received was from the movie Cars, his favorite since he was 2. He got McQueen P.J., Mac and Cars from the movie, 2 cases for all his cars, a magnetic name board with Cars background, a blanket with Mater and McQueen on it, and a Cars camping kit which included a tent, sleeping bag, flashlight, compass and backpack. Needless to say that Carson slept in his tent for a week after Christmas. I'm sure it was the perfect Christmas for Carson even if it wasn't planned.

Sick-Again!
Yes, I'm sick again. I've had this awful cold/flu since Wednesday. Everyday I feel a little better but I still don't feel all that great. Plus Alaina is getting in her top two teeth. So as you can imagin it's been quite a week. Thankfully Tony's last day at Scentsy was last Monday. So he's been available to help with the house, the meals, and the kids. Husbands are so wonderful in times of need. He even bought me roses! What a great guy, right! Sorry girls he's taken.
