What is she doing?

This morning I discovered Alaina trying to put on some of Carson's underwear and pajama pants. I'm not quite sure why, but I thought it was cute.

Our First Harvest

The other night Tony made some fresh salsa and used a jalapeno pepper from our garden! It's the first or anything from our garden. We were so excited... at least I was, enough to take pictures.

Busy

Sorry I haven't posted anything for awhile. Just been really busy! Work, work, work! Posts to come soon...hopefully.

A proud Mommy!

I just have to say that I'm so proud of my kids! Last night we went out to eat with Tony's parents. Carson was "playing" some of the arcade games while we were waiting for our food. When our food was ready I went to get Carson. There was a woman over there and she asked me if this little boy (Carson) was mine. I confirmed that he was mine while preparing to be yelled at about what a terrible mother I am and how dare I .... do whatever applies to the situation. Yes, I have had this happen. But I was surprised to hear that she was so impressed that he had such good manners and at such a young age too! Wow! The other thing is that we took the beloved Binky (or "bee-bee" as Alaina calls it) got retired last night. I was getting prepared for "weeping, wailing, and gnashing of teeth" but she didn't! I just stayed with her until she fell asleep and she slept all night! Church was a little bit of a struggle, but we got through it. It's times like this that I just love being a mom!

Change

It's been awhile since I've posted anything. I know I've been slacking. Anyway... our garden is doing surprisingly well considering the constant trampling of our dog Samson. I'm really looking forward to the yummy veggies that will grace our dinner table soon, I hope. Carson and Alaina are really enjoying the warm weather and the activities that go along with summer. Mainly jumping on the trampoline with the sprinkler going. Hey it's cheaper that going to the pool everyday. Tony is busy working on projects around the house and looking for a new job. I am staying busy keeping up with house work (ha, ha, ha) and working. Every time I think I've got a handle on my life, it throws me for a loop. Oh well, change never hurt anyone...too much.

Tony and the Girls

This weekend we went up to my parents cabin in High Valley. Tony and I were on the porch swing, when Alaina and her cousin BreeAnna decided that swinging with Tony was nice too.

More Zoo
