Valentine's Day

Our Day of Love was a simple, but fun day. Carson of course had a blast at his school Valentine's Day Party. He and Alaina promptly finished all the candy he received within about an hour of his getting home. I made a nice dinner for our family of Lasagna, French Bread, Salad, and chocolate dipped strawberries for desert. Tony and I broke out the sparkling cider after the kids went to bed.
Roses for me and Alaina. Small, but Beautiful and I loved that Tony was able to do anything at all. With him being so busy and us being on a student budget I really wasn't expecting anything. He also got me an Almond Joy and each of the kids a pack of Starburst. What Holiday isn't celebrated with a sugar overload, right?
Today for lunch the kids wanted to drink out of the fancy glasses and eat some more chocolate dipped strawberries. It was too cute, hence the picture. I promise the red liquid in the glasses is fruit juice.

14 or 16 weeks along

Well I didn't do this with the other kids, but thought it would be fun to document this pregnancy. So this is me at 14-16 weeks along. According to my last cycle I should be 14 weeks, but according to my last ultrasound I'm 16 weeks. The doctor's won't officially change my due date until my next ultrasound which is Feb 28th. Hopefully we'll find out the gender of our baby then too.

First Baby Picture

I went to the doctor today and here is our next little one. Very healthy, active, and big! This little one is measuring 2 weeks older than we thought! So this is good and bad. Good meaning that is probably less time being pregnant and that much sooner until we find out boy or girl, which will be my next appointment! Bad because if this little one does come two weeks earlier that's right in the middle of finals for Tony. I guess we'll just have to see what this "little" one decides to do.

French Braid

After many years of trying I finally taught myself to french braid! I am so very excited! With Alaina's hair so long and curly it has a tendency to get pretty crazy. So today I decided to try, again, to braid Alaina's hair and hooray, success! I'm pretty proud of myself and I think it looks pretty good. I have now reached a new level of mommyhood because I can now french braid. Not that I can do my own hair, but the fact that I can keep my girl's hair up and out of mouths and food is a very good thing.

Moving In

Here are some pictures of the day we moved into our apartment in Rexburg. Thankfully it didn't snow until the next day. We spent the next week unpacking and organizing. I would really like to say that everything is in it's rightful place and we have space to spare. But I wouldn't want to lie. For the most part we've got everything unpacked, but we've got those last few boxes that continue to sit on the kitchen table. One of these days I'll get to it.

Our Kitchen Table is in there somewhere. I promise!

Christmas

I'm ashamed that with my morning sickness and being in limbo between Meridian and Rexburg we didn't get many pictures of Christmas this year and none of Christmas morning. Oh well. It was a busy holiday this year and here are some of the activities we participated in.

Carson and Alaina visiting with Santa at the Ward Christmas Party. They did a pajama party and served Breakfast. It was lots of fun!

Decorating the Christmas Tree. This year my parents broke down and bought a tree because of bad road conditions. Ever since I can remember they've gone up to the mountains to cut one down.
Carson and Alaina making Christmas Decorations. Which we never ended up giving out. You can blame a sick mommy for that!

December

With all the goings on of the Holidays, morning sickness, and moving I've been quite a slacker when posting pictures and our activities. So he's my attempt to catch up. I'm not exactly sure but when we were still in Meridian there was a good snow (for that area) so the kids, cousins, grandma, Collette, and I made a snow man. In all actuality Collette and I made the snow man. It was still fun and last for quite a while.
